2016 WRCC TWO POLE SPORT RULES
AMA SAFETY CODE WILL BE ADHERED TO:

Purpose | To simulate closed circuit racing |
Airplane | Any .40 - .46 size class warbird airplane Examples are "Hangar 9 P51" "Geat Planes P51" "Pheonix Strega Mk2" Mechanical / electric retracts allowed Structure strengthening including horizontal stab is allowed Single engine aircraft only Bottom of right wing to have contrasting 2 digit vertical racing number (8 inches high / 1.25 inches wide minimum) readable while plane is in left bank Racing number to be registered with Scott Bonse |
Engine | Only side exhaust stock sport engines allowed Two stroke - up to .65 cubic inches allowed Stock carburetor required Muffler pressure only to the carburetor Stock clunk style tank only Spinner or AMA nut required Stock or Mac muffler allowed. No tuned mufflersIf the CD has reason to doubt that an engine is “stock” the burden of proof is on the person using the engine to show that it is legal. Performance or racing engines will not be

Fuel | Magnum Fuels 15% synthetic/castor blend to be provided |
Propeller | No wood propellers allowed |
Race Procedure | Per USRA Rules Except:
900’ between pylons |
Entry Fee | 1.25 gallons of Magnum Fuel 15% synthetic / castor blend per pilot per season |
